The above quote was taken from a Facebook post. I try to never preach to someone unless they express an interest, but I felt this person needed to know she can have a better life in Christ. Christ offers all of us the free gift of a new life. All we have to do is accept this gift by:
- Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
- Be willing to turn from your sins. (repent)
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
- Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as your Savior.)

All of us are born into sin (Romans 3:23), and our sin separates us from God. Fortunately, God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to bridge this gap between us and God by dying on the cross for our sins.
- Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
- ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23b)
We are ALL loved by God. We are so valuable we can't even comprehend it. God gave His only son to die for us. AND he has a plan for each of us (Jer. 29). If you'll just ask Jesus if He's real, He'll answer you. He loves you and your name is inscribed on his palms. He wants to bless you with good things. (Jn.10:10; Ps. 23) Life is supposed to be victorius because Christ has already won the battle and we are on the winning side if we have accepted Him.
ReplyDeleteLife is supposed to be victorious because God provided a way back to Him thru Jesus. Thru Jesus we have victory because he's already won the war over Satan and defeated Him. We ARE in a battle. We just need to choose sides because, if you don't, you've already chosen the losing side, Satan's side. Choose blessings, choose life. God has engraved YOUR name on the palms of his hands. He loves you and wants to give you good things and life to the full (Jn. 10:10). He has a plan for you life, plans to prosper you and not to harm you (Jer. 29). Ask Him to reveal Himself to you; He'd love to hear from you. :)
